Matthew Vaughn added to the crew for the 'Fantastic Four' reboot

According to Cinema Blend on Feb. 22, 20th Century Fox's Mark Millar tweeted that Matthew Vaughn would be added to the team as the producer for Josh Trank’s "Fantastic Four" reboot. Since Vaughn has had experience with the "X-Men" and "Kick-Ass" movies, both of which were of a super hero genre, it's no wonder he was an ideal candidate.

"Fantastic Four" was quite a difficult sell, because trying to utilize the special effects required for teh aesthetics of Thing and the Human Torch, there will probably be the option to go with CGI this go around. Joss Whedon did it successfully with "The Avengers" when embedding the Hulk among the Earth's mightiest heroes, so why not with the "Fantastic Four" reboot?

It would be interesting to know how the quartet will acquire their powers at this go around. Will it mimic what happened in the comic or something completely different? Trank's movie "Chronical" is a tribute to such an origin on how fledgling would-be heroes would come to their current situation as a powerful being.

"Fantastic Four" is scheduled to be released in 2015.
