Matthew Perry would 'beg' to get Jennifer Aniston, other 'Friends' on new show

On February 9, Matthew Perry is returning for his first full-fledged comedy series since "Friends" with "Mr. Sunshine" -- a show about a self-absorbed manager of a sports ironically that ironically is going to temporarily replace Courteney Cox's "Cougar Town" in the lineup.

With a show featuring a star like Perry (who is also a co-executive producer), there are always two question you are begging to know the answer to:

  1. Is the show funny?
  2. Is Perry going to bringing Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, or any of the other "Friends" on board for a guest spot?

As for the first question, we won't really know until the show airs (even though the premise itself certainly sounds ripe for comedy). Meanwhile, Perry tells "Entertainment Tonight" that he will literally "beg" his co-stars to come on the show if it sticks around long enough. (Cox has already convinced both Lisa Kudrow and Aniston to appear on "Cougar Town.")
