Matthew McConaughey was seen on Thursday night introducing his latest flick Bernie with co-stars Jack Black and Shirley MacLaine at his side. The LA Film Festival premiered the latest movie and all three stars were in attendance to show off their work. While the fans should have been focused on the movie, McConaughey’s cowboy hat took center stage.
Matthew McConaughey has always been known as the sexy surfer actor. His roles usually take a hunk approach to the films seen in the past. Hair tossed back and a surf board close by, so it was hard for everyone in attendance to wrap their minds around the cowboy getup with the big hat. Looking like JR Ewing that flew in from Dallas, McConaughey was definitely had the hard rich Texas look down.
The storyline is set in a small Texas town where local mortician Bernie Tiede, played by Jack Black, befriends a rich widow Shirley MacLaine. Tiede murders her for the money, yet no one notices for months until the local district attorney, played by Matthew McConaughey, begins to investigate.
