San Diego Paranormal Eye, a local San Diego based paranormal team took a two week break as Founder Matthew Barron vacationed in Pennsylvania. According to one SDPE team member, "SDPE is one of the more highly active paranormal groups in San Diego, so it was good to have a short break from investigations."
We interviewed San Diego Paranormal Eye Founder, Matthew just after returning from Pennsylvania and learned his vacation was not just a break from San Diego life, but also a good opportunity to visit other suspected paranormal sites in PA. " I had a blast in PA, and it was fun to spend time with my family but at the end of the day I couldn't resist checking out some suspected paranormal hot spots, and a few cemeteries such as Sidler Hill Cemetery."
Sidler Hill Cemetery in Danville, PA is an abandoned cemetery which was once part of a Catholic parish. It is uncertain exactly how many bodies are interred there, estimates range from 40 to possibly 100 corpses. The condition of the markers and general area is very poor. Spirits are said to linger in the nearby woods visitors have reported strange lights, and ghostly voices speaking with strong dialects. "Sidler Hill is an awesome little cemetery, while I didn't catch any physical evidence, I did have several personal experiences such as, the sounds of phantom footsteps, muffled voices, a distinct feeling of being watched, and possible shadow figures -black masses being seen out from the corner of my eyes. “Whether or not the cemetery is haunted would require many additional trips with my full team, and equipment maybe in the future such resources will become available for San Diego Paranormal Eye ", explained Matt.
