Mattel's new Farrah Fawcett Barbie doll to benefit Farrah Fawcett Foundatation

Farrah Fawcett Barbie Doll

The 1976 poster of a smiling, golden-maned Farrah Fawcett wearing her classic red one-piece swimsuit made pop culture history as soon as it was issued, and it remains as iconic today as it was a quarter of a century ago. Now Mattel has released the new limited edition Farrah Fawcett Barbie, with proceeds going to the Farrah Fawcett Foundatation. The Farrah Fawcett Barbie doll's body is molded in the pose from the poster, wearing her famous red bathing suit and seated on the blanket that is displayed in poster.

There have been other Farah Fawcett dolls produced through the years, such as the Mego Charlies Angels Farrah Fawcett dolls pictured to the left, but none have come as close to capturing Farrah's blonde good looks as the Mattel Barbie Farrah Fawcett doll.
