Mattel previews 1966 'Batman' TV series action figure line (Photos)

Mattel has begun to give fans their first look at their upcoming action figure line based on the classic 1966 Batman TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward. The images were released exclusively through both USA Today and Entertainment Earth, arriving just ahead of the 2013 Toy Fair in New York City. Among the promo images is a 6″ Batman figure based on the likeness of Adam West, complete with a matching scale Batmobile for the figure to race around in.

Other figures include a Frank Gorshin Riddler and a Burgess Meredith Penguin which look spot on with their real-life counterparts. According to the release, the line of Batman figures will arrive sometime in July where they’ll retail for approximately $15 while the Batmobile will cost $50.
