Matt Wilhelm promised bigger tricks to the fans for the America’s Got Talent finals. And did he ever deliver on Tuesday night. The winner of the fan favorite once again proved just why he should be in the finals for the popular reality show. Sharing the story of him being bullied as a kid, it wasn’t just tricks but a journey America saw live show. The AGT audience gave a standing ovation to the act and it could be in the finals, however Wilhelm had a mistake which the judges prominently pointed out.
Matt Wilhelm is a BMX medal winner and World champion isn't your typical BMX rider (as you could obviously tell on Tuesday night. ) As the high profile rider found his profession at the local racetrack where he was bullied by the locals and refused to let him race. Switching from racing to flatland, the man found trips to be a way to win competitions and still be part of the scene.
The performance tonight was all about topping off what America had already seen. Bigger, better and maybe even a little bad boy, the contestant made America notice how badly he wants to be in the AGT Finals. Stacked against some tough competition, only the results after the voting will reveal who moves on as the 12 acts on stage were really strong. The voting opened after the show ended with America being encouraged to vote for their favorite.
