Fans of “Doctor Who” will see Matt Smith exit his role as the Doctor at the end of 2013. He will be appearing in the 50th anniversary episode that is set to air in November, and then in the Christmas special which will air in December. Smith has officially moved on from his role as the Doctor, but fans can catch him in his new role. According to an article by Entertainment Weekly on October 7, Matt Smith will be playing Patrick Bateman in the musical adaptation of “American Psycho.” The play will be in London and it will run from December 3, 2013 to January 25, 2014.
Fans were sad to learn that Matt Smith would be departing his role as the Doctor when it was announced earlier this year. Smith is one of the popular Doctors in the series, and now fans can experience him in a new setting. As Patrick Bateman, Smith will be singing and dancing through the musical adaptation of “American Psycho.”
Fans can catch Matt Smith in his role as the Doctor this November and December. He will be passing his role on, and the series will begin a new journey with another Doctor. The specials will air on BBC, check your local listings for times.
