“Last night, since almost every WWE personality was in Boston for The Decade Of Smackdown show, we all went out to eat after the show last night. A huge tab ended up being comped, which was very cool. Everyone was gonna leave generous tips because the meal was free obviously, and we wanted to take care of our servers. I was one of the last ones to leave, and was figuring up the tip. The tip wasn't as good as I would have liked it to have been from a couple of the guys. So I left an extremely large tip at the end before leaving. I joked and said it was a sin that I had to pay for other people's mistakes and cheapness. I bet a couple of my closest WWE friends that if I posted a tweet rephrasing the situation as "I am exhausted from being punished because of someone else's sins", that the wrestling media would pick up that comment and run with it as something completely different. Low and behold, almost every site did. It's not surprising that I won the bet, it's exactly what I anticipated happening. Just another example of how they're looking for any comment they can to translate however into hits for their site and reader views. So take it from me, don't believe everything you read-fact is rarely separated from fiction when it comes to any branch of the ‘media entertainment market.’”
Now, let’s be clear.I have little doubt that Matt intended exactly what he said and is speaking the truth here, but since he admits that the faulty interpretation was intended, he’s leaving himself open to the exact same criticism he would have were it true.In opening this can of worms, he has, for all intents and purposes, mocked his own whininess in the past. The obvious conclusion is that this isn’t the same situation, however, since this wasn’t a story being widely reported before (that he was indeed being de-pushed due to Jeff’s legal troubles) we are left to either decide that Matt is seeking attention or that he is subtly putting out for discussion that he is being de-pushed due to Jeff. This suggest keeps his name talked about and gets fans who are supportive (see the comments on the post before on the topic of Matt and this situation) to demand he be back, which will hopefully (to him) hasten his return.
There is also no need for the wrestling media or fans to apologize for wrongly interpreting something meant to be wrongly interpreted.Matt Hardy has a Twitter that he uses to contact fans, who he here deliberately misled. Also, his explanation is simply asinine, since he is in no way being “punished” and no others “sinned.”At the end of the day, all Matt Hardy has done is prove himself an attention seeker (I’d use a different word other than seeker, but this is a family site) who will mislead those that follow his career for a cheap laugh. The earlier points about his wrestling ability, or lack thereof remain and I’m really seeing how someone like Paul London could consider Matt such a poor person. Thanks for the hits, Matt.
As a lifelong fan growing up in the Bronx, wrestling has long been a passion for Aaron. Upon becoming a teacher, he realized that he could finally afford to partake in the underground, independent wrestling found in the greater New York Area and quickly found himself writing for Pulse Wrestling,...
Yep.
You have it in a nutshell. He basically admits here, that whatever he may have meant INITIALLY when the comments first left his mouth he saw enough there that he assumed the majority of people would assume he was talking about Jeff, and more important he didn't shy away from that likelihood.
Loose lips sink ships and it looks to me like the SSS Hardy is going down. I think the only credit the captain can take at this point is that he hulled it himself.
Yeah, Matt was pretty dumb here (especially because he could have said "I WILL NOT DIE! OR UNDERTIP FOR GREAT SERVICE!" instead), but you really want to go out on that limb with Paul London? Really? That washed up, bitter flake?*
*I worded that way just to see if London's fans get as huffy as Hardy's, I'll admit. I'm just like Matt!

Also, great argument, Michelle! Way to totally negate Aaron's points! You sure told him! !!!!!!
I hope Matt Hardy dies in a cold fire.
Hey Bones! You know karma is going to get up and bitch slap you for that.
Got something to say?
