According to Comic Book Resources on April 5, Matt Gerald, also known to have appeared in "Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King", has been casted as a villain in Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man" film. He appeared as White Power Dave in the film short that can be viewed on the "Thor: The Dark World" Blu-ray home film.

So far, he joins the cast of Paul Rudd, who will be donning the Ant-Man suit and Michael Douglas, who will be portraying Hank Pym. Gerald had also appeared in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" and "Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines".

Evangeline Lilly, known for her role in "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug", has been rumored to play Janet Van Dyne, also known as The Wasp.

Edgar Wright, who has also worked closely with Simon Pegg in a series of British comedic films, was thought to have taken on Pegg in the "Ant-Man" film, but they were strictly rumors and nothing more.

"Ant-Man" opens in theaters come July 17, 2015.
