Matt Flynn who was hired to be the starting quarterback for the Raiders has been nothing but a disappointment. In the last two games, Flynn and starting Raiders were basically dominated at every level.
As for Flynn, the quarterback could do nothing to look like a starting QB that came to the Raiders’ franchise to lead the way.
Many will say that the Raiders’ offensive line is just as bad as Flynn was at the helm so far in the preseason. In fact, many of these analysts are correct.
In the last two NFL preseason games, versus the Saints and the Bears, two strong teams, the Raiders ended the first quarter with 0-17.
Those two first quarters, respectively, were played with Flynn at QB and the Raiders’ starters, defense and offense.
The results were none. That means that the Raiders have more to worry about! Hopefully, the answer to this problem will come on Thursday when Pryor starts with the Raiders’ first stringers.
Maybe Terrelle Pryor’s athleticism will be the answer for the Raiders’ offensive line, which is a work in progress. Maybe the kid is agile enough to work with a weak offensive line—Raiders’ fans have to admit this is true!
Who knows? However, Pryor will truly be tested with a strong Seattle defense. Hopefully the kid has what it takes to lead and inspire both the offense and the defense of the Oakland Raiders.
The defense, well, that is another story. Maybe in the next article I’ll have something nice to say, besides the fact that the second and third stringers kicked some ass in the last two preseason games.
In the end, there is one thing to say, “Just Win Baby!”
