Even though the Oakland Raiders starters did not do well in week two of the NFL preseason against Drew Brees and the New Orlean Saints, Matt Flynn feels positive about the Raiders making a huge turnaround.
As reported on Thursday, Flynn feels good about the Raiders’ squad and claims that the players have developed a lot of chemistry.
Flynn added that Oakland is a different team than what it was at the start of camp. He claims that the work ethic is high and big expectations will happen for the Raiders.
Matt Flynn has expressed his optimism after the Raiders suffered a 23-0 first quarter beating from the Saints in week two of preseason.
It was the Raiders 2nd and 3rd stringers that put the Oakland Raiders back in the game against Drew Brees and the Saints. The game ended 28-20, which, at one point, the Raiders were only three points behind in the fourth quarter.
As for week three, the Raiders will host the Chicago Bears. This will be the ultimate test for the Raiders’ quarterback squad.
Coach Dennis Allen has expressed that all four QBs could possibly play in week three of the preseason, which most team use to gauge the top two quarterbacks.
Anyway, it’s good to see that optimism is still riding high with Matt Flynn and the Oakland Raiders. Hopefully, Flynn and the starting squad will show more promising performances than what they showed against the Saints.
