Matt Damon wants you to join him on a toilet strike (Video)

Matt Damon wants you to stop using the toilet. Damon is on a strike from the toilet and wants fans to boycott it as well. According to a Feb. 12 US Weekly report, Matt made the announcement through a faux press conference in a PSA for Water.org.

Damon’s public service announcement video has gone viral. The co-founder of Water.org explains that the toilet has saved more lives than any other invention every invented. However, 780 million people worldwide still lack access to clean water and sanitation. This is twice the population of the United States without access to clean water.

A whopping 2.5 billion people are without access to basic sanitation and toilets on a regular basis. Cell phones are more prevalent than toilets worldwide.

Damon declared he will no longer go to the bathroom until the issues is resolved. Matt referred to it as a toilet strike and didn’t answer directly when asked if he would use the bathroom in other places, such as a swimming pool.

Damon added,

"Say no to toilets. Say yes to clean water for all."
