Matt Damon guest starring on 'House of Lies' with Don Cheadle

Movie star Matt Damon will guest star on Showtime's "House of Lies," which stars Don Cheadle as Marty Kaan, according to a Feb. 4, 2013 announcement from Showtime cable television network. Damon will appear as a client in the episode that debuts on Feb. 10, 2013 at 10 p.m. ET. A video preview of Matt Damon and Don Cheadle on "House of Lies" is attached.

Matt Damon, guest starring as a maniacal megastar version of himself, enlists Marty (Don Cheadle) and the Pod’s help to improve his image. Damon wants attach his name to a charity equal to George Clooney's causes. The hilarious result is Damon’s Children, but what Marty has to do to deal with the superstar may be his greatest challenge yet.

Real-life friends Matt Damon and Don Cheadle are reuniting on-screen since starring together in the blockbuster hit Ocean’s Eleven film franchise. Damon recently took a comic turn when he hosted late night's Jimmy Kimmel Show.

"House of Lies" is currently in its second season on Showtime. This season, The Pod, especially Marty and Jeannie, deals with the fall-out from the big merger showdown. On the home front, Marty is thrown when son Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.) decides to move in with his unbalanced mother, Monica (Dawn Olivieri). Marty's younger brother (guest star Larenz Tate) and old friend (guest star Nia Long) reappear in his life. The series has been renewed for a third season.

The series is based on the hit tell-all book from best-selling author Martin Kihn (House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Then Tell You the Time). Produced by Showtime, "House of Lies" is created and executive produced by Matthew Carnahan. Jessika Borsiczky, Stephen Hopkins and Don Cheadle also serve as executive producers.
