At UFC Fight Night in Cincinatti, Matt Brown, who has been beating his opponents in brutal fashion, delivered another impressive performance, this time against Erick Silva in the main event of the evening. In the co-main event, Costas Philippou faced Lorenz Larkin, who trains at Millennia MMA in Rancho Cucamonga.

In the first round of the main event, Silva dropped Brown with a kick to the body. Silva followed with elbows, but instead of continuing to throw elbows, Silva tried to finish Brown with a rear naked choke. Brown fought off the choke and got to his feet. Silva, who appeared to have gassed, backed up the rest of the round as Brown punished him with strikes.

In the second round, Brown continued to punish Silva with strikes. He took Silva to the ground, where Brown used strikes to hurt Silva. Brown even attempted submissions, but he was not able to finish Silva in the second round.

In the third round, Brown seemed to have broken Silva's will to fight. At one point in the third round, Silva, who was on his back getting hit with punches, turned over and exposed his back, which prompted the referee to stop the fight.

In the co-main event, Philippou dropped Larkin with a left punch-right punch combination. Larkin fell down face first. The fight ended at 3:47 of the first round.

UFC Fight Night was a success. The main event and the co-main event were just two of the many exciting fights of the evening.
