Matt Barnes arrested on domestic violence charges - YouTube video of Gloria Govan from Basketball Wives talks wedding
Matt Barnes has been arrested on domestic violence charges, and though reports haven't named Gloria Govan, his planned future wife, as the woman involved -- police reports say Barnes' domestic abuse arrest was related to a woman who lived with him.
However, in a text message to a reporter and on his Twitter page, Matt Barnes claims he was the victim of domestic violence.
Fans who watch "Basketball Wives" are familiar with the "ride or die" (flip your wrists here) and "that's what's up" girl who professed that the other women could learn a lot from her due to how happy she is with Matt Barnes and their children.

"DON'T LET YOUR EARS WITNESS, WHAT YOUR EYES DIDN'T SEE!!!" Barnes tweeted after his arrest, perhaps inadvertently giving out the address of a home where he is staying?
This duo is something else. Other sites have a photo of Barnes picking up a blonde woman, accusing him of cheating.
I hate the way he acted during the dinner at his home with Gloria and two of the other Basketball Wives.
When one asked Matt did he see a lot of cheating on the road, instead of saying something like "Yeah, it happens, but I don't do it" he said something like "I don't know nothing...I stay in my room...I don't see nothing."
From then on, you knew he was one to not tell the truth -- and therefore, probably had something to hide himself.
Apparently Barnes and Govan called off their planned wedding. Gloria talks about plans to get married to Matt on August 21st in Santa Barbara in this YouTube.com video, but obviously that didn't happen.
I know Gloria probably just wanted the perfect life for her and Matt -- to get married and be stable for their kids, but it came across as a little-miss-know-it-all on TV.
Oh and I hated the way Gloria and her sister refused to confront or deny the rumor that the sister had sex with Shaq -- obviously it was something that caused Shaq's ex-wife a lot of pain as she cried.
Just keep living, I thought to myself when she dogged out the other women who'd been through rough divorces and break-ups.
You could almost see this crash happening. But I pray she's okay. No one wants to see domestic violence happening, nor experience it.
I wonder if Basketball Wives was taping when this event happened?

At least she gave him the rope to do it, instead of already doubting him.You Women act as if you were in that situation and knew one of your girls was cheating , you would say something to their man, GTF outta here with that. Wow you sound like a bitter woman too!!! Good Luck with that mindset! Get off the high horse and let people live there own life, while you do the same
I watched the show and I felt that the other wives had truth about being a baller's woman but based on their experiences and they came on a little too strong at gloria's dinner with matt and of course he's gonna deny the cheating. however while i truly believe gloria was trying to trust her man& give him the benefit of the doubt, she did come off as naive& a miss know it all. some of the things these women have gone through many women go through; the difference is it's in the public eye&their men make millions. i hope matt&gloria are ok and split if things are that volatile. what these women need to do is take the time to get to know these men before they have children with them and make a serious committment. no amount of money,fame&game can make up for a good role model, a good father or make a good man/husband.
Then again sometimes you never really know a person til you get serious but back to my comment there are some folks not taking the time to see what they are getting into before they hook up.
I think Gloria was deep, she had tried to not show an image of bad rep for her an her future husband. Everyone wants a perfect relationship and everone thinks she's saying that. That is so the not the case. She was just bring the facts. All of these women are bitter, they were being edited by Shaqs Ex-wife...think about it...how hurt someone could be and decided to flip the script....I mean come on people TV is always trying to make money and that's just what she did. She needed a villin in the show...and she chose someone she could get back at...and so I think Gloria was spoofed by the negative comments only showen by the show, I think they should just do a show about Gloria, people like deep, honest, proud women...and that's just what Gloria is....
