Matt Barber: 'Rainbowshirts are emboldened' and 'brought the long knives'

In an April 3, 2014 column for BarbWire, Matt Barber himself lashed out at the LGBT community for their criticism of Mozilla's Brendan Eich for having donated to the Proposition 8 campaign.

Once again, Barber assumes that freedom of speech is a right reserved exclusively for Christians, as he had no problem with the American Taliban calling for full boycotts of Guinesss and Samuel Adams beer, but now says of the LGBT community's criticism of Mozilla that "the Rainbowshirts are emboldened and they’ve broken out the long knives."

Do you see what’s happening? Did you read that? That's fear — deathly fear. Fear of a radical, hateful, intolerant, obnoxious, fascist, evil and power-crazed group of sex-obsessed anarchists who demand that we all affirmatively celebrate their deviant and self-destructive sexual sins and unnatural perversions.

Christians, buckle up. Your whole world is about to change. The Rainbowshirts are emboldened and they've broken out the long knives. "Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence" – Psalm 73:6.

They smell blood in the water. I've often said that these folks want those who speak Biblical truth about human sexuality and legitimate marriage either 1) dead, 2) imprisoned or, if they can have neither of these, 3) marginalized to the point where they can’t even support their families.

Barber even includes a graphic depicting Adolf Hitler in a pink uniform and makeup.

Yet again, nobody did anything that wasn't protected by the First Amendment, or that Matt Barber and his cohorts in the American Taliban have not already done before.

Whether he likes it or not, freedom of speech is not a one-way street. It grants him the right to spew forth crazy conspiracy theories, and it grants me the right to inform everyone that his war against reality is as futile as ever.
