Sprinkles Cupcakes, which has locations in Beverly Hills and at the Grove here in Los Angeles, is teaming up with FOX and Gordon Ramsay's new cooking reality competition series, Masterchef Junior in order to attempt to make the World's Largest Cupcake.
Today, September 25 2013 from 3 to 5 p.m. at The Grove Park (189 Grove Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90036), Ramsay, his executive producer Adeline Ramage Rooney, and a number of their "pint-size" contestants from their new series will be on hand to promote their new show and pass out cupcakes to fans.
Masterchef Junior is the first time the Masterchef kitchen has been opened to children between the ages of eight and thirteen, and chef judges Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Graham Elliot challenge them to make restaurant quality dishes dealing in seafood, homemade pasta, and desserts-- and that's all in the first episode! Of course they will also have to tackle tough mystery box challenges, as well as the added complications that many of them can't even properly reach their stations, let alone food on the highest shelves in the pantry.
Masterchef Junior premieres on FOX on September 27 2013 at 8 p.m.
