Massage Envy Spa, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based operator of budget-friendly pamper parlors is opening its first New York facility early next year in the Styyvesant/Gramecy section of the city at 312 East 23rd Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenue.
In a press release received today, August 29, the company said it was looking forward to serving the people of New York and bringing affordable and accessible skin and body care to the area.
Massage Envy spas can be found in nearly 900 locations throughout the U.S., most with good reputations for providing top quality services at low prices. The company claims it is the world's largest employer of licensed/registered massage therapists with at least 21,000 therapists providing over 16 million massages a year to a total of more than 1.3 million members.
