Massacre Wurm is sort of a new take on the titans from M11, as you're presumably getting a useful come into play effect even if your unearthed abomination eats a Go for the Throat upon entry.

Massacre Wurm well... massacres! If this Dune-escapee burrows up under your opponent's elf deck, knight deck, or even a steel deck, there's going to be a mass of bodies and a huge payload of life loss on top. Not only have you likely disabled your opponent's chances of winning, you've probably placed him within a hit of death or even killed him outright.
So where does Massacre Wurm go? Is it a possible sideboard option alternative to Grave Titan? Will it take over maindeck space if battle cry decks show up somehow? Time will tell.
There's no doubt that Massacre Wurm is a game winning explosion of fun in Limited if your deck can facilitate the triple black mana cost. Massacre Wurm ends stalemates cold and will often cause a game deciding shift the second it bursts forth on the board.
