Howard Stern says that Tuesday's Massachusetts Senate race is a 'referendum' on President Barack Obama's performance so far.
The polls for the Massachusetts Senate race have for the seat vacated by Senator Ted Kennedy have shocked Democrats who expected an easy win for Democratic nominee Martha Coakley. Coakley has been lagging far behind Republican opponent Scott Brown in the polls for a race that was supposed to be a lock for Democrats.
King of All Media Howard Stern thinks that Massachusetts voters are using the special Senate election to let President Obama know their feelings on the war in Afghanistan. "You know what? I kind of get it. Liberals are not happy that he committed more troops to afghan. This is a referendum on Obama."
Howard Stern Show co-host Robin Quivers believes it's also about Democrats' dissatisfactions with the handling of the health care debate. Quivers went so far as to say that at this point, it "doesn't look good" for President Obama to score a second term.
Of course, no Howard Stern Show story about a Massachusetts Senate race would be complete without comment from the ghost of Senator Ted Kennedy as performed by Howard Stern.
"Er ah,...how can this be that er ah my seat will go to a Republican," barked Howard Stern going into his classic Ted Kennedy impression on Tuesday morning's broadcast. Boo hoo boo hoo! Er ah my head is going to spin around and by the way it takes 11 hours to completely spin around--a complete 360. It's a known fact."

Howard may be the most ineffective/dishonest/ill-informed political talker on the radio. He's developed the worst tics of your average limousine liberal with a few of the uglier conservative mantras.
He's right about the Mass. election being a referendum on Obama - but it's clearly about health care and the economy, not about Afghanistan. That is just ridiculous ...
Wish I'd heard that Kennedy impersonation.
Also, I'm a total phag.
Suffice to say someone created a fake account here with my name and tried to attack me rather than take on my comments. Classy.
