During the Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC), which is underway in Seattle this weekend, comic book publisher Dark Horse Comics announced plans for a new “Mass Effect” inspired comic book, “Mass Effect: Foundation”, with the first issue available this summer.
No major story details have been revealed about the “Mass Effect: Foundation” tie-in comic series at this time, but what we do know is that “Mass Effect” 2 and 3 lead writer Mac Walters will be handling the storytelling duties. The comic will also have new characters that are tied directly to the upcoming “Mass Effect 3: Citadel” single-player DLC. “Mass Effect: Foundation” #1 will be on sale in comic shops and through Dark Horse Digital on July 24, 2013.
The “Mass Effect 3: Citadel” DLC will be available on Mar. 5, 2013 for the Xbox 360 (1200 MS Points), PC (1200 BioWare Points) and PlayStation 3 ($14.99). To learn more about the “Mass Effect” series of games you can visit the official site.
