'Mass Effect 4' quiet, 'Mass Effect 3' was easy to change up

"Mass Effect 4" is currently being worked on by BioWare, but one of the franchise's writers has come out to speak about writing the game's narrative.

According to a report from VG24/7 on Tuesday, BioWare writer Ann Lemay talked about what it was like to write the "Mass Effect" add-on narrative.

"With a DLC focused on Aria and therefore likely to lean strongly toward a more Renegade storyline, it occurred to me that we could introduce a much stronger character with a definite Paragon bent as a foil to Aria if we made Nyreen a Turian instead.
