Mass Effect 3 will be available for download on PSN from day one

Just announced today, the upcoming blockbuster epic Mass Effect 3 will be available on the very same day as the retail release on the Playstation Network, according to a post on the Playstation Blog. 

In addition to pitching the demo and saying how happy everyone at BioWare is about it, they also announced a couple pre-order bonuses if you pre-order over the PSN.  You'll get access to the M55 Argus assault rifle, a close-range burst-fire weapon, and a PS3 theme.

Once again, these pre-order bonuses are ONLY for those who pre-order the digital copy of the game.  They seem pretty clear in that post that once the game launches, these items won't be available anymore.  Bummer.

Mass Effect 3 launches for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on March 6th.  Pre-order your copy today or pick it up from any of these stores around Anoka County.
