‘Mass Effect 3’ and more free games revealed for ‘SimCity’ players (Photos)

Electronic Arts has revealed the list of free games they will be offering to “SimCity” players as a result of the online sever issues that plagued the launch of the city-simulation title. According to a blog post from their official website, the publisher revealed that registered players can pick one of eight available products, including “Dead Space 3” and “Mass Effect 3,” to download for free from their Origin storefront.   • Battlefield 3 (Standard Edition)
  • Bejeweled 3
  • Dead Space 3 (Standard Edition)
  • Mass Effect 3 (Standard Edition)
  • Medal of Honor Warfighter (Standard Edition)
  • Need For Speed Most Wanted (Standard Edition)
  • Plants vs. Zombies
  • SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition

“Mass Effect 3” was first released on March 6, 2012 while “Dead Space 3” came out on Feb. 5 of this year. “SimCity” launched for the PC on March 5.

To qualify for the free offer, players must register their copy of “SimCity” be the deadline of March 25, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. The free game has to be claimed by March 30, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

“Dead Space 3,” “Mass Effect 3” and “SimCity” were all published by Electronic Arts.
