Mass Effect 2 DLC announced - Kasumi Goto the infamous thief

The people at BioWare have once again announced a new batch of downloadable content for Mass Effect 2, Stolen Memory.

This is no mere weapon or armor pack however.  Stolen Memory will add a brand new recruitable character to the game, Kasumi Goto, the infamous thief previously only mentioned in news reports on the Citadel and Illium.  The inclusion of a new character means a new loyalty mission as well.  Players will help infiltrate the vault of the dangerous criminal, Donovan Hock.  Stolen Memory will also include a new weapon: the Locust SMG, a new casual outfit for Shepard, and an achievement.  Like the previous DLC character Zaeed, Kasumi can be used for the remainder of the mission once she has been recruited for your squad.  She will also feature new dialogue and cinematics.

"The galaxy's most enigmatic thief Kasumi has enemies everywhere, but only a few could put a face to her name. Not much is known about her, other than Cerberus has contracted her to assist Commander Shepard in the mission to save mankind. In exchange, she requires help with a dangerous heist to infiltrate the vault of a deadly criminal known as Donovan Hook.

Kasumi is master of stealth and eluding her enemies, her unique skills and technical expertise will be a valuable assets to Cerberus and Commander Shepard." - Kasumi's character page on the official ME2 site.

Kasumi and the entire Stolen Memory DLC bundle will be available on the Cerberus Network sometime in early April.
