Mason Dixon Roller Vixens Season’s Beatings

See also

The Mason Dixon Roller Vixens hosted their annual holiday tournament “Season’s Beatings” a bit later than originally scheduled this year, but nonetheless brought together skaters from all over to compete. Originally scheduled for December 8th, 2013 inclement weather forced MDRV to reschedule the event for January 19th 2014. Held at Turners Skate palace in Hagerstown, Maryland, skaters from various leagues were placed on teams and the mixed rosters proved to be an exciting and unique bouting experience. A number of skaters from the Dutchland Derby Rollers represented the Lancaster, PA league in force, with at least one Dutchland skater on every team at the tournament. Several former and current Dutchland Rollers were named MVP. The Mason Dixon Roller Vixens will also host Battle of the Freshies at Turner Skate Palace on Sunday February 16th, 2014. Battle of the Freshies is a tournament to give newer or “fresh meat” skaters an opportunity to play different opponents and gain bouting experience.
