Maryland SPCA needs your help!

After all the earthquakes and all the flooding, the tough economic times, who is always there wagging that tail and cheering for all us humans to just be happy! Dogs are everyday!! Please check out what this amazing young lady is trying to achieve and help her and her dog for the benefit of all the others.

The Maryland SPCA March for the Animals

a 1.5 mile walk-a-thon to benefit the animals on SUNDAY APRIL 18th, 2010 between 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

at Druid Hill Park Baltimore Maryland (exit right off 83 south) registration starts at 9:00 a.m. this is a rain or shine event so please make plans to come.

I was lucky to met one young lady and her beautiful dog, Brandi Koetting, you can help Brandi with her goal of $1,500.00 by logging on to Brandi and her dog (lucy) are featured in this article. Brandi has stated that ALL the proceeds from this walk will go directly to the SPCA. That's awesome since recently on the news our mayor has announced cutting funding for the city SPCA by 11% this next budget year.

The event will have pet contests, agility courses, training classes (my lab youngblood needs!), pet demonstrations and entertainment!

Hope to meet you there!
