Maryland Science Center teaches Tiny Tinkerers basic science

On Thursdays in January and February starting at 10 a.m., the Maryland Science Center offers Tiny Tinkerers, a program suitable for younger children with their caregivers. The program is free with paid admission and completely free for members. Reservations are not required.

Before school field trips arrive at 11 a.m., younger children can visit the Kids Room’s Discovery Space at the Maryland Science Center. Through a variety of investigation stations, located in the Learning Lab, children will discover basic science concepts.

The current schedule is:
January 10, 17, 24, and 31
February 7, 14, 21, and 28

What You Need to Know
The Maryland Science Center is located at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor on 601 Light Street. There are parking lots, paid spaces and metered parking available on Light Street and Key Highway (click here for directions and additional parking details).

Current hours until March 24 are 10 a.m.to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday The museum is closed on Mondays. (Click here for holiday hours).
