If you haven't taken advantage of the Maryland Science Center's IMAX Film Festival you still have time. Returning again this winter for a limited engagement, the film festival runs through March 1st.
As Maryland's only true IMAX theatre, they showcase films on stories of survival, theatrical performances, and those that take a look at animals and nature.
Film titles rotate on a frequent basis and are available at single entry admission prices throughout the day and there is no need to purchase a Science Center exhibit admission ticket to see IMAX films.
With nine weeks and six titles to choose from, some of the popular films are:
- Secret of Life on Earth
- Shackleton's Antarctic Adventure
- Bears
- Magic of Flight
- Cirque du Soleil: Journey of Man 3D
- Pulse: A STOMP Odyssey
The Maryland Science Center IMAX theater is located at 601 Light Street, Baltimore, MD.
