Retrofit Baltimore is holding a community energy meeting at the Govans Branch Enoch Pratt Library on Feb. 5. Blue Water Baltimore seeks volunteers to work at the Herring Run Nursery, which boasts a large number of native plants, on Feb. 6. Participants will weed and repot plants. The hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Volunteers should dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water and lunch or a snack. The Maryland Association for Environmental & Outdoor Education (MAEOE) is holding their annual conference in Ocean City from Feb. 7 to Feb. 10. The keynote speaker is NASA astronaut Richard R.
