The Maryland Family Christian Center (MFCC) has found a new home. On Sunday, March 3, the church will relocate to North Forestville Elementary School & Community Center. The church's last Sunday morning worship service at 7813 Parston Drive was this past Sunday.
MFCC is led by Pastor Jerome Bell. Each Sunday, he and his wife, First Lady Tonita Bell greet attendees with a smile and always encourage churchgoers to “come as you are” fostering a comfortable environment to deliver a message of love, hope and salvation.
With the move to the school they have use of the newly built Community Center located at the school. Pastor Bell feels this new venue will be mutually beneficial. “The meetings with the school principal, Dr. Ellis, custodians, and school board contact all went extremely well! They are excited about our presence. Additionally, considering the press of what's been happening in our PG County Schools (2 teens slain in a one-week period); they all acknowledge prayer is needed! It’s another great time and place to serve,” Pastor Bell said.
The move will also fits quite nicely with the church’s upcoming 15th anniversary celebration. A diverse array of activities is planned March 7-14, including the kick-off on March 7 which will celebrate First Lady Bell’s 40th birthday.
The North Forestville Elementary School & Community Center is located at 2311 Ritchie Road in Forestville, Md. Follow MFCC on Facebook for updates on church activities.
