The hours are 12:30 - 5 p.m. The Senate Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs committee will be considering the fracking moratorium bill, which is called the Fracking Study Review Act. The hearing is particularly urgent since the Governor's executive order forbidding fracking expires in six months. Once that happens, there will be no legal protection preventing fracking in Maryland. To learn more, contact Megan Jenny at megan@chesapeakeclimate.org.
