Mary Poppins Flies Into Chicago

One thing I love about living in Chicago is the family-friendly culture and theatrical hits that visit.  Broadway in Chicago is the source for terrific seats to the most exciting shows in Chicago's bustling Downtown Theater District.  My 10-year-old and I usually catch as many shows as we can. With a love and appreciation for theater, he's the best date I could find.  Seeing the plays I saw as a child through his eyes is really the greatest gift. So, for any occasion we can think of, we head downtown for a night of pure magic.

MARY POPPINS is currently playing at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph St.)  and it's a must-see for any family.  This high-flying musical - a classic - brings its own brand of Disney magic back to Chicago! Featuring the irresistible story and unforgettable songs from one of the most popular Disney films of all time, plus breathtaking dance numbers and spectacular stage-craft, MARY POPPINS is a "spoonful of sugar" you don't want to miss. With four productions currently running on three continents, the show is one of the biggest stage musical successes to emerge from London or New York in recent years. The musical is the winner of 44 major theatre awards around the globe, inlcluding Tony®,to two million delighted theatergoers in 32 cities to date.
