Mary J Blige is the second The View guest of the week to make headlnes for something other than what they showed up to promote on The View. Mary J Blige allegedly punched her husband Kendu Isaacs at her record release party Tuesday night and then showed up on The View the next morning.
Reports that Mary J Blige punched her husband surfaced on Thursday, a day after her View performance, so she managed to cruise through her The View beastlettes' seizing claws without answering any personal question or getting roasted during The View "Hot Topics" segment.
The New York Daily News, which initially reported that Mary J Blige punched Kendu Isaacs at her record release party for checking out a waitress, now reports that Mary J Blige was just breaking up a fight between her husband and her brother.
In any case, Mary J Blige cruised onto The View set Wednesday morning after somebody punched somebody, and the R&B diva put on a happy face.
Mary J Blige performed her latest single "I Am" for The View biddies and then delivered a terse holiday message for the exit interview cameras.
This is the second time this week a View guest has dodged a controversy before the "ladies" got their hot little moronic hands on it. Susan Sarandon appeared on The View just a day before publicists announced that the Oscar winner was splitting from her partner of 23 years Tim Robbins.
