Mary Harrell directs 'The King and I' at the Fair Theatre (Photos)

The Rodgers & Hammerstein's play, "The King and I" will be performed on stage at the Fair Theatre in Somerville, Tenn. on March 1, 2,3, 8, 9 and 10, 2013. This musical is well know by all people who love musicals.

Mary Harrell, who is a veteran director at the theatre, and a member of "Somerville Theatrical Arts Repertory, Inc" group, is in charge of direction, with Shannon Elsea co-directing. According to Mary, The King and I is the biggest production she has been involved with, and she has worked very hard to make it a show the audience and performers will remember forever.

The cast of The King and I are: Anna Bowen as Anna, Harvey Sandusky as the King, Hayden as Louis, Nathan Alexander as Captain Orton, David Mann as Interpreter, Shannon Elsea as The Kralahome, Joseph Mann as the Prince, Beverly Hix as Lady Thiang, Gerry Glenn Jones as Sir Edward Ramsay, Esther Bowen as Princess Tuptim, Ben Bowen as Lun Tha, Jamie Dickerson as Uncle Thomas.

The Wives of the King are Maddie Bell, Hannah Mckinley, Alex Gipson, Anna Mann, Lauren Alexander, Shae Lindsey, Paige Waddell, Sarah Dickerson, Jade Lindsey, Laura Mann.

The Children of the King are Natalie Bell, Mary Helen McKinley, Lindsey Alexander, Olivia Stearsman, Chelsea Burris, Savannah St. John, Elizabeth McKinley, Caroline Hunt, Laniey Alexander, Jackson Bell.

Other co-directors involved with this play include, Kenzie Bergloff - choreography, Pat Powell - costumes, Shannon Elsea - staging, Johnny and Virginia Miller - music and vocals. Other crew members are Aubrey Davidson - sound, Harvey Sandusky - set and props, Deanna Bergloff - secretary, Kat Lindsey - makeup. Also, parents of the cast have contributed much time and energy in this production.
