Flanagan’s Harp and Fiddle has one of the region’s best female blues voices helping them ring in the New Year. Mary Ann Redmond and her band will help the venue say farewell to 2011 and hello 2012. A live DJ will fill in the musical breaks between and after sets of live blues music. The Bethesda venue will be serving a special five course dinner for New Year’s Eve. Guests will also have a champagne toast at midnight and a dance floor to dance their blues away.
Mary Ann Redmond has won 14 WAMMIE Awards establishing herself as one of the top acts in the Washington area. The Richmond, Virginia native has released three studio albums and one live collection. She performs throughout the area and occasionally plays a fun gig anywhere in the Mid Atlantic area.
Her band includes Dan Hovey on guitar, Mike Tony Echols on bass, and Deren Blessman on drums. Flanagan’s Harp & Fiddle is located at 4844 Cordell Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland.
