Face front true believers! There is no time like now then to be a fan of comic books and superheroes, especially if you are a fan of Marvel Comics. These days, the world of Marvel has become a major part in the entertainment business with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and most of this is thanks to the super powered group: The Avengers. The team up of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk hit theaters in 2012 and became a massive success. Not only did the film pave the way for cinematic universes, but it created a new franchise that has moviegoers coming back for more. The studio's phase 2 has had individual sequels for several characters, but as the summer comes to a close, upon us is the continuation to the 2012 film- Avengers: Age of Ultron. The film will features the six heroes teaming up again, but this time the threat comes from the mechanical menace named Ultron.
The anticipated blockbuster has seen some major updates this week, which are eager to get fans excited for the film. The first update came yesterday when footage was revealed at a Q&A for Guardians of the Galaxy . The footage featured a brief action scene and showing off the new and improve Avengers Tower. The fun does not stop there as today Entertainment Weekly had their first look in the 2015 film. The coverage featured nine new photos for the film. Each of these images had something to feature, including the confirmation that Don Cheadle will be making a appearance as James Rhodes/War Machine. You can see the gallery here.However, while that is great news for moviegoers, that is likely not what has your attention as you are too busy looking at the new cover to EW.
On the latest edition of the magazine, the next Avengers film is presented on the cover. There you see the likes of Captain America and Iron Man in their new attires. However the third person behind them is the film's villain: Ultron. Enteratainment Weekly gives moviegoers the first look at Ultron and his drone army. If any fan was skeptic that Ultron would not be a creation of Tony Stark, you can put that to bed as the nemesis does indeed resemble the Avenger's armor. There will be a better looks at Ultron in the future, but for now enjoy the first taste of this Marvel baddie.
It seems that Avengers: Age of Ultron has put its momentum into overdrive. There is still 11 month til the release of this blockbuster, but Marvel is going to no expense of showing off their anticipated movie; and this is only the beginning. There will likely be more at Comic-Con (which is weeks away) and who knows what will be featured from now to the end of the year. All that can be said that when it comes to the movie world, it is a good time to be a comicbook fan.
