The latest issue of Famitsu 360 features a developer roundtable interview. One of the developers, Marvelous Entertainment, was asked if there will be any more HD ports of their Nintendo Wii exclusive titles.

In regards to the just-released No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, the representative gave a vague answer saying that they are aware of fans asking of a port to the Playstation 3 and/or Xbox 360. For Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Marvelous Entertainment flat out said no.

Marvelous Entertainment will be porting No More Heroes to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year as No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise. The developer is also planning an unannounced game to be unveiled in 2010.

no dont do it people are happy this is on wii the controls make the game oh what about some ps3 games coming to wii 67 million owners i tell u the ps3 gets games as far as im concerned at RE4 quality in 720p if that i mean i seen RE4 in 720p screenshots it looked better than most 360 games period and that was cube so wii can do all 360 games if u ask me how about some 360 games with same graphics in 480p its possible lets see if ZELDA looks better than high end 360 games i think it will oh TVC looks better than BLAZE BLUE ect same as SF4 so wii games built ground up look as good as 360 games final plus if they used same budgets i think wii games would look better/same

remember xbox1 had much more mhz processor thn cube 722mhz cube 433mhz almost 300mhz more but cube had clever well balanced hardware like wii for pushing 40 miliion polygons with full textures at 60fps xbox1 could only do 25 million at 45-60 fps its a fact forget ps2 anyway the wii should be able to do 100 million polygons at 60fps with full texture support that means RE with 2.5 times textures, polygons, ect basically RE5 on wii could have looked better but devs are downgrading wii games when the wii has the power to show off some of the best looking games this gen it pees me off butt with MT framework now on wii and HVS upgraded Quantum 3 tech and retro studios on board these games are hopefully on the way cube made the best looking games last gen

Ye Gads Matt, punctuation isn't a dirty word ;). So ya know mate, the Wii has its good games, but I've got a Wii and a PS3, and the two are chalk and cheese - quality PS3 games have far better graphics, animation, AI, physics and, resulting from this, generally far better gameplay. After hearing how good Super Mario Galaxy was, I was itching to play it (apparently one of the best games this gen), only to find it was reminiscent of PS2-era gameplay. Good PS2-era gameplay, but after spending some time on the PS3, it feels retro (at least if you played Ratchet and Clank on PS2, which I did - they did spherical worlds, and better, years before Ninty).

Given this, I wouldn't go near Muramasa or No More Heroes on the Wii unless I needed a retro gaming fix, but if they upped the gameplay and graphics with what can be done on the PS3 or 360, I'd be more likely to pick it up, after seeing how it compared with what was available at the time.

That sucks they're not doing a port of Muramasa. I would love to see that game come to the PS3.
