Marvel teases a new Brian Wood X-book

It's the new year which gives everyone a chance to start off fresh and try new things...or in Marvel's case, roll out even more teasers.

As has been the case for a good portion of 2012, Marvel has begun teasing what seems to be a new book.

The story is slated to be penned by Brian Wood (Ultimate X-Men) with Olivier Coipel (Thor) providing the art. But what makes this teaser intriguing is the fact that it doesn't contain a key word. Instead it shows 'XX' with a picture of a double helix DNA.

Now going back to Biology 101, XX represents the sex chromosome of a female. X is also associated with the mutant community specifically the X-Men.

So putting two and two together, it looks like we are getting a female-centric Brian Wood X-Men book.

But of course we will have to wait for an official announcement. This new book will debut April 2013.
