According to Comic Book Movie on March 18, Marvel executive Kevin Feige had talked excessively about the ending to "Iron Man 3". He even talked of Joss Whedon's reaction to the ending of the film.
Stark technology love triangle
In the weeks that passed, there had been rumors going around about Tony Stark's love triangle between him, Pepper Potts, and of course "Project Wine Cellar". Otherwise known for his secret suit compilation hidden under the Stark Mansion floor.
Feige elaborates on this a little too much in an interview he had with bloggers.
Kevin Feige flashes back in "Iron Man 3"
It appears that Feige reveals a portion at the beginning of "Iron Man 3":
"He goes to Vegas, he sleeps with a reporter, to sort of set up that, so that the relationship with Pepper, there’s a flashback at the beginning of [Iron Man 3] with the Rebecca Hall character that shows what Tony was like many years ago, before he became Iron Man".
He continues to talk about how one can see how Stark has been maturing lately and evolving out of the whole Playboy lifestyle.
Joss Whedon reacts to Tony Stark's suits and how he intends to use that in "Avengers 2"
When Joss Whedon sees how the suits come to fruition in the "Iron Man 3" movie. The destruction of his mansion had taken place and the clean up crew had started to remove the rubble and then Whedon spots the suits after they become apparent in the basement of the Stark mansion.
Feige then shared with his blogger fans, Whedon's reaction:
Whedon states, "Now what am I supposed to do now? What am I going to do in Avengers 2?”
It appears that Whedon is scratching his head trying to figure how he can tie the end of the "Iron Man 3" movie into the "Avengers 2" movie he is suppose to direct.
Perhaps fans will come to find out on May 3 when "Iron Man 3" makes it's debut in theaters.
