According to Huffington Post on March 24, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" executive producer Jeph Loeb has indicated that the ABC TV series will cross over with "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". This information was made apparent in a recent interview panel at the 2014 PaleyFest.
When asked about whether or not the movie will co-mingle with the TV series, Loeb did emphasize not to miss out on episode that will air on April 8. On that date, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will reveal the tie-in to the "Captain America" sequel. This will be a short four days after the film makes its debut.
“It would not surprise anyone if things that happen in the movie you mentioned are in the show we’re talking about. I wouldn't miss it if I were you".
Though it isn't a real detailed confirmation of a crossover, but indicators such as Captain America's shield appearing in lieu of the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo in recent episodes seems to be an obvious indicator. Also, when "Thor: The Dark World" released in theaters, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents from the TV show was scene cleaning up after Thor's mess and discovered a piece of Asgardian technology being traced to an Asgardian berserker incognito on planet Earth.
A fan did ask Loeb if any of the agents of the show would appear in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and the question was quickly sidestepped and he simply encouraged people to see the movie.
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" debuts April 4.
