"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." spoilers for episode 2 have been released -- and judging by what's to come on Tuesday night -- it's a "kids vs. adults" kind of theme. The premiere episode last week brought in huge viewership and that could be a sign of how popular this series is going to be.
MTV reports Sept. 27 in this episode of "S.H.I.E.L.D.," Skye becomes an official member of Agent Coulson's special-ops team. This isn't likely to go over well with the other elite members of Coulson's team.
In a spoilers clip from episode 2, titled, "0-8-4," agents May and Ward voice their objections to Coulson about allowing a civilian to join them on the Bus. In the meantime, officers Fitz and Simmons welcome Skye on-board and are excited to have her be a part of their team.
Here is the official synopsis of the show for "0-8-4" from ABC:
"Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents travel to Peru to investigate an object of unknown origin, codenamed 0-8-4. But when he runs into Comandante Camilla Reyes, more than just sparks fly at 30,000 feet, on 'Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network."
In brief previews of the "0-8-4" episode, the high-tech plane is under attack and it appears as though though it will break apart. Coulson will be noticeably absent from the action as his subordinates struggle to defend themselves against the attackers.
Episode 2 of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs Tuesday, Oct. 1 on ABC at 8 p.m., ET/PT.
