According to on Thursday, Clark Gregg, star of the ever popular ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", spoke with fans on Reddit which is a highly frequented forum on the internet. It's a host to other celebrity question/answer sessions as well and Gregg speaks with fans about his desire to portray the role of Captain Marvel and even hints that a certain Avenger may appear on the ABC series.

Gregg intended on talking mostly about his new "Trust Me" movie on Reddit's "Ask Me Anything" format, but fans were inherently curious about future comic geek-dom when it came to future episodes of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." One fan did ask what kind of comic book character he would like to portray other than Gregg's Phil Coulson. The actor mentioned his desire to be Captain Marvel. Of course, comic purists dug deep into the origins of the character as Captain Marvel does have ties to the Kree race of people. Some speculated such a race was the one found contained at Project T.A.H.I.T.I.

Fans may have recalled in Joss Whedon's "The Avengers" Agent Coulson's desire to get his Captain America trading cards signed by the man himself, Steve Rogers. However, unfortunately, Coulson was killed at the hands of Loki and left behind a bloody set of cards that can now be purchased online or at a local comic shop for regular shoppers. Of course, the blood is not real. A fan did ask if Coulson would ever get those cards signed now that he's back to the land of the living.

“That's a very good question. If I were you, I would check out Season 2 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

This response does speak volumes and indeed infers that the first Avenger, Steve Rogers, may be making a guest appearance on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Fans may still wonder though about some things things like the T.A.H.I.T.I. had been lead up to speculation as to the origin of the serum that saved Coulson and Skye. Looks like the cast of the show will have to dig deeper and of course Coulson will probably desire to seek out further answers to his resurrection under the orders of Nick Fury.
