According ComicBook.com on March 13, Marvel comics has announced the prelude comic to "Thor: Dark World" and will be available for June. Recently there had been prelude comics tying into the Marvel cinematic universe and has been an engaging read for those who aren't familiar with comics in general.
"Thor: Dark World" prelude comic ties it all together
This two book series will tie itself into "The Avengers" movie as well as the last "Thor" movie and allowing them both to tie up those loose ends and paint a path to the up and coming "Thor Dark World" film.
Other Marvel prelude Comics
Other prelude comics such as the two issue series for "Iron Man 3" filled in the gaps displaying the types of suits he'll be adding to his army of "Iron Men". As well as giving fans who have been wondering where War Machine had been when "The Avengers" were busy protecting New York City. Also, it gave some insight into Mandarin's motive to scan War Machine's armor during the battle against The Ten Rings terrorist group.
Also, "The Avengers" prelude comic which tied all the singular character movies to transition into the box office hit.
"Thor: Dark World" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 8 in theaters.
