Last night at the Ritz in Georgetown, the Got Your Back Network hosted a spectacular evening of Martinis and Makeovers.

Attendees crowded the Degrees bar to experience the opportunity for a custom makeover sponsored by Saks Fifth Ave and top brands such as Chanel and Armani, bid on a silent auction, nibble on treats by Georgetown Cupcake, and experience their own paparazzi moment with Moshe Zusman photography.

Red lips steal the show

Overall the customized looks featured peachy and earthy tones which continue to show their dominance over the runways, street and makeover chair to emphasize an effortless, healthy, natural glow.

But, the standout look remains to be the single red lip with a very clean, neutral eye. As difficult as it is to find the perfect red lipstick, once found it is as important and vital as the simple black dress. Georgia Marmaras from Chanel created this classic look by choosing a red to compliment skin tone and emphasized the use of a lip pencil to seal in the color and define lips.

Got Your Back Network

The Got Your Back Network, founded by Andy Baldwin makes important connections with military families who have lost a spouse or parent while serving our country. Many guest speakers spoke of how the organization positively affected their lives by providing assistance, guidance and support during difficult times and reminded all of the purpose of the evening.
