Martini Madness mixes pleasure with business in the Sonoma Valley

Here it is the moment martini lovers have waited for--a "Martini Madness" mixology fest.

Shaken, not stirred, up with an olive, down and dirty--however you take your martini, here's your chance to live dangerously and try a new twist or two. We know you love the way the bartender at the Peninsula Beverly Hills fixes yours just right. And well the ones at Lola's on Fairfax are hard to beat, as is a dirty martin at Cafe La Boheme, or the super dry drink at Lexington Social House in Hollywood, or on a boat ride in Balboa.

But, on Friday, January 13, Martini Madness erupts when top Sonoma Valley restaurants and bar keeps compete to create the best new martini.

Scene of the crime:   from 5 to 7 PM at Saddles Restaurant at 29 East MacArthur Place plays host to the Sonoma Valley Olive Season’s ever popular Martini Madness event, sponsored by Skyy Vodka, where visitors and locals can see master martini makers in action, sample their creations and vote for the best-mixed martini.
