“Sometimes you will hear a song and you think you know a song, but then you have to go to sing it and really emote the lyrics and really figure out what the lyrics are exactly,” Martina tells of her Van Morrison cover “Wild Night.”

Martina has recently performed live with George Strait and has recorded with superstar acts like Reba McEntire and Clint Black over the years.

“I’ve been able to do some amazing duets. I’ve been able to duet with Bob Seger, and Jimmy Buffet,” the singer says.

Martina also provided insight on the duets with two pop superstars that fans will have the opportunity to hear once the record surfaces.

“We did a duet with Gavin DeGraw on an old Sam Cooke song called 'Bring It On Home To Me.' I did a duet with Kelly Clarkson; an Etta James song called 'In The Basement.' That was really fun.”

A viewer-submitted question asked when a future duet with Carrie Underwood would take place.

“There are no plans to do a duet with Carrie Underwood, but that would be fantastic,” Martina admitted.

Martina McBride plans to tour in support of “Everlasting” beginning in April. For tour dates and the latest updates, visit her website. Fans can also keep up with the “This One’s For The Girls” singer on Twitter.
