Martin Short knows how to bring on the comedy. In what is becoming a tradition of mini-flicks being introduced weekly on the show, Tuesday night was extra special with funny man Short as presented ‘Jersey Short,’ a take on the famed pop culture show on MTV. The nine-time academy award winner shared with the audience of Jimmy Kimmel exactly how life on the hit show Jersey Shore would be, if he played all the characters
Covering all the characters of ‘Jersey Shore’ Martin Short was all the characters, with the exception of the child introduced and eaten at the end. From The Situation to Snooki, he didn’t blink in bringing on the personas of the people in the MTV House in a very funny way. Creating a quick bit of drama in the house, there is a birth in the hot tub of a child. While we all wish he could have been the child, his face was superimposed on the pickle used. Implying it was Snooki’s kid (who loves pickles) the bit was one funny moment after another.
Martin Short referred to the performance as a “labor of love.” In the end of the video we realize that the exclusive premiere of ‘Jersey Shorts’ really is a labor of love, but in a whole different way.
