Martin Sheen is still around in his elderly years and remains a very talented guy. Sheen will be starring in Netflix's Jane Fonda-Lily Tomlin comedy reported The Hollywood Reporter on June 18, 2014. Sheen has joined the 13-episode comedy "Grace and Frankie" starring Fonda and Tomlin.
In this story the lives of Grace, played by Fonda, and Frankie, played by Tomlin, are turned inside out when their husbands make an announcement that they are in love with each other and are planning to get married. Grace and Frankie than find their lives becoming more and more intertwined as they become friends working to help each other out with this mess. The theme is really very amusing.
"Grace and Frankie" was written and created by "Friends" co-creator Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris. It is set for a 2015 debut. Sheen, who is at his best in "Grace and Frankie," recently appeared in his son Charlie Sheen's FX comedy "Anger Management." Sheen also received great reviews for his role in Aaron Sorkin's White House drama "The West Wing" for his lead role as President Bartlet.
In "Grace and Frankie" Sheen will play Robert, who is the husband of Fonda's onscreen character Grace, reports the BBC. Tomlin and Fonda reunite in this comedy series more than 30 years after the movie "Nine To Five." At 73 years old Sheen is still coming on strong. He is remembered for his brilliant performances earlier in his career in "Apocalypse Now" and "Gettysburg." Sheen makes it appear that it may be a good idea to suggest to your kids that there is often a very promising career in the entertainment industry if you want it enough and if you go for it.
